We know Ukrop’s Homestyle Foods makes a difference in our customers’ lives because they tell us. We receive letters, phone calls, emails and blog posts from customers who’ve had great experiences centered around our food. Here’s some of our favorite customer stories:

“I drive 5 hours just to get the Breast of Chicken Salad, White House Rolls and Birthday cake. The chicken salad is the best! No one in South Carolina makes it like Ukrop’s does.”

“There’s nothing better than sitting down to watch my favorite team play with a big bowl of Ukrop’s chili and a slab of cornbread from the bakery. It’s hearty, filling and the perfect football food.”

“It is insane how good the macaroni and cheese is. Anytime I have a long day, I know the macaroni and cheese will help me relax. No restaurant makes anything like the mac and cheese made by Ukrop’s.”

Plus, with so many designs to choose from, the options are endless. No one ever gets sick of Ukrop’s cupcakes!”

A Favorite for Generations

“I love the White House Rolls! I remember my grandparents buying them from the Patterson Avenue store when I was a kid. They’d get a dozen just for me and my brother to share. They are delicious, and now I share them with my daughter.”

“I love so many things about Ukrop’s, but my all-time favorite is the Bar Cake. It reminds my of the cake my grandma used to bake. It’s fantastic!”

“Everyone at my house loves the rainbow cookies. My daughter’s first outing as a baby was to Ukrop’s at 6 days old, not that she could eat a cookie yet. But soon, it seemed like we were always making a stop at the bakery counter to get her one. Now she’s 9 and although she’s grown up fast, her face still lights up when she sees a container of rainbow cookies on the counter at home.”

Making Memories

“Since we were kids, my mom has bought a Chocolate Fudge Pie for me and each of my siblings every year at Thanksgiving. It’s our favorite. Who needs turkey when you’ve got Chocolate Fudge Pie?!”

“When I had my husband’s family over for our first Christmas, I had never cooked a turkey before so I bought a Ukrop’s Complete Holiday Meal. It was easy to make and everyone loved all the delicious food. Even my mother-in-law couldn’t stop raving about the great holiday at my house!”

“Every time I come home from college my mom greets me with a big piece of Ukrop’s pound cake and a glass of milk. I love starting my visit with a real taste of home.”

“The European wedding cake has been my favorite for years. After tasting one made by chef Otto himself, I knew I had to have one for my wedding. When I got married in 2002, I ordered the PERFECT European cake. It put the finishing touch on my special day.”
