The experts at Ukrop’s combine time-honored tradition with expert craftsmanship to ensure your cake tastes as wonderful as it looks. We cover your choice of our gourmet cake flavors with either our buttercream icing or smooth rolled fondant and finish it with hand-sculpted and airbrushed flowers and other breathtaking details. All our cakes are carefully decorated by hand.

Traditonal Wedding Cakes
Our Traditional cakes come in the lemon, velvet fudge, almond or classic pound cake varieties you already know and love. They are hand-iced with Ukrop’s famous buttercream icing and decorated with beautiful buttercream flowers.

European Wedding Cakes
A Ukrop’s European wedding cake is truly a premium selection. Available in rich, luxurious flavors including white pound cake with buttercream filling; Milano Almond cake with apricot and vanilla buttercream filling; hazelnut cake with buttercream filling; or Cream de Cocoa cake with raspberry preserves and chocolate buttercream filling, this dessert is sure to leave an impression on your guests. All the original recipes were created by Ukrop’s certified Master Pastry Chef Otto Bernet. These cakes are hand-iced and decorated with our fondant icing, which allows for more elaborate designs.

Groom’s Cakes
The groom’s cake dates back to the 17th century when a small cake with a richer flavor than the wedding cake was served at the rehearsal dinner or wedding reception. Single female guests took slices home and placed them under their pillows in hopes that they’d dream of their future husband.

Today, honoring a groom with his own cake is a popular wedding trend. The cake is usually served at the rehearsal dinner and is designed to depict the groom’s hobby or interests. Ukrop’s can design a traditional cake or a custom cake to reflect the groom’s unique personality.
