Jason began his career with Ukrop’s as a courtesy clerk in 1987. Over the years he has worked in multiple rolls at twelve store locations, as well as the support center. During this time he has had the honor and privilege to work with many of the great leaders that have helped to pave the way for Ukrop’s success. He was appointed General Manager of the Sycamore Square location in 2003, and in 2005 he and his family relocated to Roanoke, VA to open a new location there. He still resides there today with his wife Michelle (who also works for the company) and their five children. Jason manages the day-to-day operations of our retail partner business and field support teams.

Why Ukrop’s: My dad worked for Ukrop’s while he was in high school and always spoke highly of his experience. I remember turning 16 and taking multiple trips to my local store trying to convince the store manager that I was the right fit for the job. While I inherited my work ethic from my father, my experience at Ukrop’s helped to strengthen the importance of giving back 100% to those who count on you to serve. It’s been a wonderful experience over the years to continue to work for a family that is passionate about their customers, their community and their foods–and always placing a priority focus on associates.
